It is the middle of autumn here, with winter just around the corner. We have had some night frost already and the snow line has been down to 600 m altitude; right now it has warmed up a bit and only mountains over 1000 m have a white cap. We have had beautiful autumn weather the last week, good for outside house maintenance and gardening, and of course mushroom picking and hiking trips. The northern lights have given us some good shows already, but I need more practice taking photos of it. On the photo below the lights had mostly faded already by the time I had figured out the right settings on my camera. Hopefully I will be able to post some better photos soon.
