We snowshoed/skied up Lille Blåmann in beautiful autumn weather and decent snow last Sunday. It was probably the last time we saw the sun this year: the polar night starts in about a week, and the weather forecast is not exactly promising, with +3°C and rain expected for the next 10 days.
We hebben afgelopen zondag met sneeuwschoenen en skis in prachtig herfstweer en met goede sneeuw de berg Lille Blåmann beklommen. Het was waarschijnlijk de laatste keer voor dit jaar dat we de zon hebben gezien: de poolnacht begint over ongeveer een week en de weersverwachting is niet bepaald optimistisch, met +3°C en regen voor de komende 10 dagen.

The low sun gives long shadows. The mast and building on the top lie at ca 600 m and our track will go right past them.
The last few hundred meters to the top are quite flat.
