Flowers

We had some cold weeks, but now the weather has improved again, and the weather bureau even predicts temperatures of over 20 degrees for all of next week. Proper summer, very nice! Good weather for evening hikes and sea kayak trips, although we are also trying to get some house maintenance done (the front of the house needs to be painted and the garage needs new drainage around it).

The plants (and the weeds) in the garden are growing quickly and several are flowering. We have lots of poppies, they really are a weed and spread everywhere, but they are also very nice and colourful and flower all summer. Here some photos of the current flowers.

Lily (Fritillary), kievitsbloem

Rose root, rozenwortel
